COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC picked up a point at home from a 0-0 draw with El Paso Locomotive FC on Saturday night at Weidner Field.

The tie ends the Switchbacks 3-game losing streak in the restarted USL season.

"We came out of the gates ready to play," said Switchbacks FC head coach Alan Koch. "And I think we got a little bit fatigued as the game went on. It is hard to keep that tempo up for a full 90 plus minutes. We were ready to play and the guys trained fantastically all week long in every session this week. We gave them a game plan and they went out and executed it. We are making progress. It is a little gratifying tonight, but we are not celebrating by any means, but we are making progress."

Colorado Springs held El Paso to zero shots on target to record their first clean sheet of the season after being dominated in the previous match with Locomotive FC.

The Switchbacks are back at Weidner Field Wednesday night to take on Austin Bold FC at 7pm MT.
