COLORADO SPRINGS – In Thursday night football action, Discovery Canyon continued to roll through its schedule, winning a big matchup against Pueblo East.
Discovery Canyon, which is undefeated so far in 2018, built a 24-0 lead early against Pueblo East and didn’t look back at District 20 stadium in Colorado Springs.
The Thunder ran for more than 300 yards in a 52-24 rout of Pueblo East. The Eagles’ record fell to 3-2 following the loss. Discovery Canyon improved to 5-0 on the season.
Across town at Garry Berry Stadium, Ladarius Mays and the Coronado Cougars ruined Palmer’s senior night. Mays was unstoppable on the ground, scoring multiple touchdowns and helping the Cougars win 35-6 over Palmer.
