With a commanding number of votes, Pueblo East travels to Canon City for our Friday Football Fever: Game of the Week.
This Week 2 showdown of 1-0 teams was a battle for early bragging rights in the 3A South Central Division. The Tigers came out on top, defeating the Eagles 21-18.
Both teams impressed in their season openers with the Tigers cruising past Pueblo Centennial, 41-0 at Dutch Clark Stadium. On Saturday, the Eagles followed suit, topping Riverdale Ridge, 27-17.
