Broncos reportedly interested in trade for Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown

DENVER – You can now add the Denver Broncos to the list of teams reportedly interested in Antonio Brown.

Ian Rapoport said Saturday morning, on NFL Game Day, that the Broncos are expected to be one of the teams pursuing a trade for the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver.

It’s likely the Steelers would get a 2nd round pick as part of the trade deal, though some GM’s still think it would take a 1st round pick.

On one hand, it’s exciting to imagine a duo as deadly as Brown and Emmanuel Sanders.

But would the Broncos be willing to invest in two superstar receivers, when they have up and coming guys like Courtland Sutton and DeSean Hamilton?

Sanders hopes so, but he also says his former teammate needs to check his attitude a little bit.

Brown has had…shall we say, a very nasty–and very public– falling out with the Steelers in the last few weeks.

“You cannot turn your back on your brothers–the Pittsburgh Steelers, who gave you opportunity to make you who you are, in terms of Antonio Brown the football players,” Sanders said, as a guest on NFL Game Day.

“For you to leave on a Wednesday, and then have your agent call on a Sunday–it’s the ultimate disrespect to the Pittsburgh Steelers organization.”

Brown added: “I don’t like the situation, but I hear the Denver Broncos [are interested]… hey, what’s up baby?!” he said laughing.

The two were teammates from 2010-2013, both drafted by the Steelers in 2010.

Brown finished the season with just under 1,300 yards, and 15 touchdowns.
