FOUNTAIN — The City of Fountain is working on plans to make Ohio Avenue more pedestrian friendly, and they want your opinion.
On Monday, the city launched a "Placemaking" initiative "as a part of a grant from the State to further the vision of the city’s center, known as the Olde Town District."
This week, the city has had five informational boards in front of City Hall with ideas of what Ohio Ave would look like. On Sept. 26. the boards will be moved to John Metcalfe Park to join the Community Market.
The city invites residents of Fountain to go see the boards and provide feedback via a survey.
New boards will then be created based on the feedback from the public and displayed in front of City Hall the week of Oct. 19. A new survey will be created for the next round of feedback.
