COLORADO SPRINGS – Viewers in southern Colorado now have access to a new television channel!

Court TV, an iconic TV brand, officially launched in the Colorado Springs-Pueblo market as channel 5.4 on Wednesday.

The channel will follow cases that grip the nation’s attention in real time, providing in-depth legal reporting and analysis about compelling trials across the country.

Emmy Award-winning legal journalist Vinnie Politan serves as the network’s lead anchor. Julie Grant, Seema Iyer and Yodit Tewolde join him at the network desk. All four are seasoned journalists and lawyers. They’ll also be joined by reporters covering trials around the U.S.

“Since E.W. founded Scripps 141 years ago, we have been a company committed to quality journalism,” said Brian Lawlor, Scripps president of local media. “The rebirth of Court TV is a natural addition to Scripps and furthers our efforts to push for transparency and public understanding of our government and in our legal system,”

Viewers in southern Colorado can find the new network on channel 5.4. It is only available over the air and online, which you can access here. Can’t find it? Try rescanning your TV to detect the new channel.

Court TV is owned by Scripps, which also owns KOAA-TV. For more information about Scripps, click here.
