News 5 Investigates confirmed Monday that Michael Travis Huber has an active arrest warrant out of Chaffee County for harassment.

Despite Huber’s criminal record dating back more than two decades, he somehow managed to get on the web site HomeAdvisor, which claims to pre-screen and recommend reputable and licensed contractors.

A News 5 investigation found Huber has no valid contractors license and failed to pull proper permits for home renovation jobs.

Multiple customers throughout southern Colorado say they paid Huber for work which he started, but never finished.

One victim won a $7,500 judgement against Huber which she claims he hasn’t paid.
