PUEBLO — Thousands of dogs, representing 180 different breeds, are gathering in Pueblo for the 64th annual Southern Colorado Kennel Club Dog Show.

With more than a thousand dogs in attendance each day, and an average of three people accompanying each canine competitor, the Colorado State Fairgrounds are sure to be hustling and bustling with "paw-sitive" energy.

Participants explain that the event is a good opportunity for dog owners to learn tips and tricks on how to best interact with and train their precious pups.

Those looking for which dog breed might best suit their lifestyle will also have an abundance of time and opportunities to witness multiple breeds and talk with breeders about their dogs traits and characteristics.

The show will be going on through Sunday, running from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. To learn more about the event or other club activities and opportunities, CLICK HERE.
