PUEBLO — On Friday, two local Pueblo groups joined together to help with Pueblo's food needs during COVID-19.

The Arc Thift store has donated 2,000 pounds of food and is working with the Salvation Army to give out those items to people who need it the most.

"We think in 2020 that this will never happen, well it can happen this time and so that's the reason why that it really motivates me," explained Marina Martinez, a Salvation Army Captain. "it brings me joy that this other organization is caring for the people as well."

The group will be near Prairie and Northern in Pueblo on Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m, and then again from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The group will also be doing deliveries, but you must call ahead for it.
