PUEBLO — Take a trip down memory lane this summer with Dairy Queen's new blast from the past Blizzard flavor, Frosted Animal Cookie.
Dairy Queen released their new summer flavors including the limited edition flavor, Frosted Animal Cookie. This decadent dessert consists of frosted animal cookie pieces, cookie crumbles, and confetti sprinkles blended into their soft serve ice cream and topped with pink confetti icing.
What makes the Blizzard that much sweeter is the toppings are chopped at local Pueblo company TR Toppers. According to Toni Montoya, Project Manager for TR Toppers, DQ and TR Toppers have been in partnership for about 25 years.
Frosted Animal Cookie will be one of many new flavors featured on DQ's summer menu, including Cotton Candy and Raspberry Fudge Bliss Blizzards.
