PUEBLO — A new piece of art was unveiled in downtown Pueblo Tuesday.

The "Pueblo Strong" mural was unveiled near the Riverwalk.

The mural celebrates Pueblo's high school students and recent graduates for their resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Looking at it and seeing all the colors pull together, it was absolutely amazing. So it came out better than I thought it was ever going to be. I'm super excited," mural organizer, Jacelynn Trujillo said.

The mural was made possible by the Pueblo Health Department, the Colorado Trust, and artist, Matte Refic.
