Pueblo Police searching for possible armed carjacking suspect

PUEBLO — The Pueblo Police Department responded to an armed carjacking incident at a gas station Tuesday.

Officers were able to find the vehicle and the weapon they believe was used in the carjacking at a Loaf 'N Jug off Troy Avenue and Oakshire Lane.

Authorities were able to receive a surveillance photo of the person they believe to be the suspect.

PPD is still searching for the suspect who is described as a 5'9" or 6'0" male with a heavy build, short dark hair and prominent brow. He was wearing a light blue jersey with the number "5" on it.

Officers are asking the public to contact law enforcement at (719) 553- 2502 if they have any information.
