PUEBLO — A Pueblo Elementary School needs your help.

Belmont Elementary's community playground was torn down Wednesday because it was deemed unsafe.

Last week there was damage to the slide and when D60 workers went to fix the ADA friendly playground, they found it was not safe due to damage and lots of wear and tear.

"Well play time, especially in elementary is important and kids sure enjoy it and I know the playground behind me was heavily used by all grade levels," said Dalton Sprouse with D60.

Belmont is applying for grants to build a new playground but if you want to help out as well, just give the school a call.
