PUEBLO — Pueblo Community College has made some major upgrades to a popular program.

The school unveiled its new welding program renovations Wednesday.

The upgrades include expanding the welding shop by more than 1,600 feet and adding 10 new welding stations.

"As you know, Pueblo is an industrial town and a lot of industries around here take our students, so we are also trying to fill industry needs at that point and time,"program manager Catlin Davis said.

These improvements were made possible by a more than $1 million grant form the state.
