PUEBLO — There is an update Monday night on the illegal dumping problem in a north side neighborhood in Pueblo.
There have been issues with trash dumping in the area of 29th Street and Adrian Ave.
Pueblo City Council addressed the issue Monday night.
The council said a camera will be installed in the area.
"I think the number one responsibility of city government is to make sure, is to protect not only the safety of the people but not spread hazards or disease or cause people to get hurt," said City Council President, Dennis Flores.
The council also said code enforcement will look into what else it can do to prevent illegal dumping in the area. Installing a gate was one proposed solution.
