COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs police are investigating a motorcycle accident that left one person with severe injuries early Sunday morning.
Police said the motorcyclist was getting on the MLK Bypass from southbound I-25 when the rider went off the roadway.
The victim was transported to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. Police have not said if the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet or not.
Authorities said excess speed may be a factor in the crash.
