PUEBLO COUNTY — A new solar field could be coming to Pueblo West.
Grid Alternatives made a presentation to the metro district Wednesday.
The Denver group is a non-profit and says they want to help reduce people's power bills.
"Solar is really popular in the community there are a lot companies that are doing it, so I think it is similar. It just has a different bent kind of a social purpose," said Jay Michael Baker with the Pueblo West Metro District.
No decisions have been made yet by the Pueblo West Metro Board.
Grid Alternatives wants 15 acres of land for the project.
The proposal will be revisited in about a month.
