COLORADO SPRINGS — Mount Carmel Veterans Center continues to assist people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The assistance includes behavioral health professionals, employment and transitional service, and the Veterans and Family Resource Center.
Mount Carmel CEO Bob Mclaughlin said those who use the center are also looking for ways they can help the community.
"They want to know what's available today, how can I contribute. You know our military community always wants to give back, especially in this community. Whether it's I want to be employed to do something or I want to volunteer to help. That's the kind of things we're getting here at the center," Mclaughlin said.
Mclaughlin said it's a stressful time for everyone and they're working to ensure veterans are receiving the services they need.
