SUMMIT COUNTY — Loveland Ski Area has a new member of its avalanche rescue team, Bandit the border collie!
Bandit, a 5 month good boy, will be training with his handler Dan Linden to join Loveland's ski patrol.
Training Bandit could take anywhere from 2 to 3 years to get certified.

Bandit will work full time, 5 days a week,with Zuma, Loveland's only other ski patrol rescue dog.

Parker the Snow Dog still works at Loveland, but as their ambassador and not with ski patrol. Parker is a huge Denver sports fan, and will occasionally stop into Colorado Springs to help promote the ski area.
