COLORADO SPRINGS — In a new partnership, local medical cannabis dispensaries are collecting food for Care and Share Food Bank.
Several dispensaries in the Springs have been collecting non-perishable food for about two weeks.
Dispensary owners told News 5 that the industry needs some positivity and finding charity partners can be a challenge.
"We're all wanting to give back. It's so hard to find non-profits that will take money or goods," Morganna Lebold with Cannabis Marketing Inc. said.
You can drop off donations at Natural Leaf, M.C. Caregivers, Elevations Dispensary, and Big Medicine Cannabisary.
The drive goes through the 15th of December. Drop boxes will be on site if you don't care to go in.
