PUEBLO — A wandering turkey named Larry is the Pueblo Fire Department's new mascot.

The department said the turkey showed up at the station by Saint Mary Corwin Medical Center and called it home for almost two months.

Larry went viral after he appeared on the TV show "Live Rescue."

After causing some mischief he was shooed away from the station, back into the wild.

As a mascot, Larry helps with different activities like public service announcements.

The department made shirts featuring Larry. Sales of the shirts will go toward different charities, like the Colorado Professional Firefighters Burn Foundation.

Make sure you get your shirt from the Pueblo Fire Department. Some people are selling knock-offs.
