PUEBLO — Colorado Parks and Wildlife had to close both entrances to Lake Pueblo State Park Saturday, after the park reached its maximum capacity.
A tweet from CPW said because the park was full they could not allow anyone new to enter until others left.
All of the campsites at Lake Pueblo are booked for the rest of Memorial Day Weekend.
Guests who plan to visit should expect heavy traffic and crowded conditions Sunday and Monday as well.
Park rangers warn that illegally parked vehicles may be towed, and they might have to close the gates again if the park reaches capacity.
