COLORADO SPRINGS — There was a big turnout Saturday for the Colorado Springs Labor Day tradition, the Labor Day Lift off in Memorial Park.
The event has been a staple in the Springs for years, as balloonists gather at the park for three days of flights.
The weekend features family event and a balloon glow each evening as long as the weather cooperates.
There is another balloon glow scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday night. Things will kick off again at 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
