COLORADO SPRINGS — A full day of celebrations in Colorado Springs this week as people took part in a parade honoring local health care heroes.
The event Tuesday also served as a way to mark the end of Lag BaOmer, a spiritual day in the Jewish community.
"So this is a day we're going to go out and spread the message do goodness and kindness," said Rabbi Moshe Liberow, director of Chabad Lubavitch of Southern Colorado. "Make that little difference in your life that will impact the world entirely on a global level.
The Rabbi and other volunteers from the Jewish community also visited a few local hospitals.
