BLACK FOREST — Two people are in the hospital, including one person was airlifted to a burn unit in Denver, after a house fire broke out early Christmas morning, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
Officials said the fire broke out around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday with four people in the home located off Bridle Bit Road.
The Black Forest Fire Rescue said the fire destroyed 75% of the home.
There were seven agencies working with multiple partner agencies on this house fire.
There is no determined cause at this time. However, authorities have ruled out arson.
