COLORADO SPRINGS — Lovers of music, racing, and fun can take part in all things automotive this weekend at Pikes Peak International Raceway.

"Gridlife" continues through Sunday. The event combines track racing, drifting, a party and concerts all in one place.

It draws people from all over the country and is the brainchild of a Midwest marketer who likes the PPIR venue.

"We're building something, so we're considering this first year to be the seed and we're hoping to build this over the next few years," said Gridlife director and founder Chris Stewart.

General admission tickets are $25. Gates open to the public at 11.
