PUEBLO — Pueblo School District 70 announced Tuesday morning high school graduation dates scheduled for this month.

The district said it is conducting the ceremonies in a "scheduled access mode" to limit the number of people in the outside ceremony stage area. There will be no more than 10 people allowed to gather and it is including: the principal, school administrator, Board of Education director, school counselor, photographer, graduate and up to four guests.

Graduating seniors and their families will have a specific time to arrive and they will receive ceremony information from their schools this week. Here are the dates for graduation ceremonies beginning at 8 a.m.:

  • District 70 Online on June 10 at Baxter Administration Building
  • Rye High School on June 11 at Rye High School
  • Pueblo West High School on June 12 at Pueblo West High School
  • Pueblo County High School on June 13 at Pueblo County High School

The seniors and up to four guests are asked to arrive in their car, which they will then be able to drive onto school property to the stage area. There they will be able to exit their vehicles and the graduate can walk across the outdoor stage for their diploma, according to district officials.

The district said social distancing requirements will still be maintained and mask wearing "is recommended for all in physical attendance." Seniors will be able to remove their masks for the ceremony and picture.

Those who are not able to attend will still be able to watch a livestream from the district's YouTube channel.
