DENVER — Gov. Jared Polis announced via social media Saturday night that both he and First Gentleman Marlon Reis have tested positive for COVID-19.
The statement released by Polis said both he and Reis are asymptomatic and feeling well. They will continue to isolate at their home.
"Marlon and I are feeling well so far, and are in good spirits. No person or family is immune to this virus. I urge every Coloradan to practice caution, limit public interactions, wear a mask in public, stay six feet from others, and wash your hands regularly," said Governor Polis.
The statement went on to say that the Governor will be closely monitored and will continue to fulfill his duties while working remotely.
