COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a three car crash near South Academy and Fountain Blvd. late Saturday night.
When first responders arrived they realized they needed to rescue someone who was trapped in the wreckage. That person was freed from the crash scene and transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The Colorado Springs Police Department tells News5 the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
