EL PASO COUNTY, Colorado — Voluntary evacuations are lifted for a fire that is burning in the southern part of El Paso County, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Edison Volunteer Fire Department, the fire started at 9350 Bowen Ln. located west of Lone Memorial in Yoder. The department says the fire was caused by a property owner who was using a grinder to fix their tractor, when sparks from the fire caught grass in the area on fire. A shed was the only structure lost in the fire

The Hanover Fire Protection District and the sheriff's office assisted to put out the fire.
