PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. — The Pueblo Fire Department responded with 12 other agencies to a fire that burned on the north side of Pueblo.
WHAT WE KNOW:
- Pre-evacuations for homes half a mile north of 1945 Overton Road are now lifted
- 25 Homes Evacuated
- Estimated 107 acres in size
- 100% contained
- Type 6 strike team called for mutual aid
The fire has been 100% contained as of 11:11 a.m. on Monday. The fire located on the north side of Pueblo near Jerry Murphy Road and Vision Hills Parkway, burned 107 acres and forced an evacuation of a nearby neighborhood.
According to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, an investigation into what started the fire is still ongoing.
The fire has prompted evacuations for homes located a half mile north of 1945 Overton Road. The sheriff's office says a total of 25 homes have been evacuated in the area.

Approximately 25 homes have been asked to evacuate due to the Vision Hills Fire. Residents half mile north of 1945 Overton Road are asked to evacuate. A reception center is being set up at 1650 Cooper Place.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says that a reception center has been set up for those that at the Pueblo County Parks Office. Small pets can be taken there as well.
Large animals can be taken to the Liberty Landing Stables in Pueblo West. A secondary location is also available at the 4 Bar S Gathering.
North and southbound Jerry Murphy/Overton Roads are closed from Bluestem Boulevard to Pinion Road. East and westbound Vision Hills Parkway from Jerry Murphy Road to Castor Drive.
Trujillo says a type 6 mutual aid call has been made on this fire and multiple brush trucks from across the county.

The sheriff's office says air resources are assisting with the fire.
According to the department, the fire is spreading north, and the cause is under investigation.
