WIGWAM — The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has lifted the mandatory evacuation order for a neighborhood west of Wigwam along I-25 as crews have knocked down a wildfire.
The fire was west of I-25 in the area called Midway, between Colorado Springs and Pueblo. The fire burned nearly 20 acres, but no structures were damaged.
There's no word on the cause of the fire. Crews will return to the area in the morning to better assess the burn area.
