COLORADO SPRINGS — The attorney for the family of De'Von Bailey provided the media with a copy of the autopsy report from the El Paso County Coroner's Office.

The release comes hours after the Colorado Springs Police Department released a narrative and body camera video of the shooting. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office also announced this afternoon that investigators have turned over their findings to the 4th Judicial District for review. That office announced this afternoon the full review will take several weeks.

The coroner's report details 4 gunshot wounds to the back and lower right arm. "The wounds collectively perforated the heart, left lung, diaphragm, and penetrated the spleen, resulting in massive blood loss and his subsequent death."

Details include a diagram showing three closely group bullet wounds in the lower left back, along with descriptions of apparent efforts by medical personnel to save Bailey's life.
