El Paso County shifts to Safer at Home Level 2

EL PASO COUNTY — Stricter COVID-19 prevention measures in El Paso County, Colorado started Wednesday. It is Level 2 Safer at Home with the color code yellow.

The change means no groups of more than ten and only from two households. Most non-essential public places have to stay below 50% capacity; for fitness centers it is 25% and bars close. El Paso County has all details listed on line.

Medical expert with Colorado Department of Public health want everyone in the state to take more personal responsibility beyond Safer at Home guidelines. "How can I make sure I'm keeping distance? How do I shop safely for my groceries? What do I have delivered? Said CDPHE Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Eric France, “We each have the power to do the work so we don’t fall into the Stay at Home scenario.”
