COLORADO SPRINGS — Forty-five students and three staff members from Widefield High School are in quarantine due to a positive COVID-19 case, according to District 3 officials.
The district said they were notified Friday of a positive case and those in contact will be in quarantine until Oct. 23.
The 45 students will be remote learning while the rest of the schools continues to participate in the hybrid learning model.
Secondary students are currently learning in a hybrid model with the students coming in for two days a week. Earlier this month, the district said 124 students and 10 staff members were in quarantine after being notified of two positive cases.
