COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs Police are investigating a suspicious death on the city's north side.

At approximately 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 1300 block of Wood Avenue, that's north of Colorado College, on a disturbance and a medical request.

When they got there, they found a man who was not breathing. Medical personnel provided help but the man died on scene.

According to police, initial information shows there was a party in the apartment and the man who died was involved in a physical altercation with another man. Other people who were there separated the two men. CSPD said the man who died appeared to have medical difficulties and then became non-responsive.

The El Paso County Coroner are working to determine the cause of death.

No arrests have been made and there is no threat to the public.
