COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department is seeking the public's help in obtaining information about a homicide that occurred on the southeast side of the city in October.
On October 2 at 10:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance near the intersection of Delta Drive and Hancock Expressway.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a dead woman in the roadway and a man with serious injuries. The El Paso County Coroner's Office has identified the woman as 37-year-old Chasta Rogers. Police say the injured man is not a suspect in the homicide.
Detectives say possible witnesses (seen in the tweets below) were at the 7-11 located at 2350 Hancock Expressway on October 2nd around 10 P.M.
Detectives are also asking for assistance in locating a vehicle of interest (also seen in tweets below). The vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, is completely separate from the witnesses and could have some front-end damage.
