COLORADO SPRINGS — Academy District 20 has announced that it will expand in-person learning opportunities for middle and high school students starting on March 15.
At that time the district will begin offering a four-day per week schedule to students.
For the past 11 months, these students have followed a hybrid schedule of two days per week in person.
Students can still choose to attend school remotely full-time as well.
The district said all COVID-19 safety protocols will remain in place to include, wearing face coverings, washing hands regularly, and providing good ventilation within buildings.
This change was announced Thursday night during the district board meeting and a district-wide communication was sent out.
