COLORADO SPRINGS — Police said a woman suffered serious injuries when she was shot in the head Monday night in Colorado Springs.
It happened around 9:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of Querida Drive, which is near Chelton Road and Palmer Park Boulevard. When officers arrived they found the victim in a home there. The suspect had left the scene before police arrived.
