COLORADO SPRINGS — A homicide investigation is underway after Colorado Springs Police found a body on the city's north side Sunday night.
At approximately 7:48 p.m. police received a report of a dead man in the 600 block of Ellston St. When officers arrived on scene they found the body on Ellston St. under the I-25 overpass.
Based on the investigation, detectives from CSPD's Violent Crimes Section responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation.
While the Coroner’s Office determine the cause and manner of death, this is being investigated as a homicide and continues to be an active investigation.
