CSFD responds to dumpster fire downtown Wednesday morning

COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Fire Department is responding to a dumpster fire near the downtown Wells Fargo building.

According to crews on the scene, the fire was isolated to a dumpster near Colorado Avenue and Cascade Avenue.

The area was closed down to traffic but it is expected to reopen shortly.

There were no injuries to report due to the fire, which was contained around 8:00 a.m.
