PUEBLO — Pueblo has been awarded an extension to the testing site at the State Fairgrounds until June 30.

This means that through the end of June, those over 65, minority groups, first responders, health care workers, anyone who has come in contact with a known positive person, and anyone showing symptoms can get a COVID-19 test.

Tests will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"We just strongly encourage our community to get out and get tested. If you have any symptoms and are not feeling well, please come out and get tested so we know what's going on and we can continue to move forward as a community in terms of opening up," the Puelbo Dept. of Publich Health said.

So far, more than 5,000 people have been tested at the site.
