COLORADO SPRINGS — The ongoing 2C repaving project is scheduled to start on Briargate Blvd between Chapel Hills Dr & Union Blvd on Monday.
The City of Colorado Springs says that the work has to be done during the daytime, due to Briargate Blvd being located in a residential area.
"We understand that there are so many cone zones throughout the city it can be frustrating, and so, we're put out a couple of tools that we maintain to try to help the traveling public," said Corey Farkas from the Colorado Springs Public Works department. "We've got a cone zone map on our website, the city website that will show all of the cone zones within town."
The repaving is 6.12 miles in total.
