COLORADO SPRINGS — One lucky Colorado Springs woman got a new set of keys on Monday thanks to Phil Long Ford Dealership.
The dealership celebrated its 75th anniversary and as part of the celebration, the company decided to hold a contest to give away a fully restored 1945 pickup truck.
Kay Vucasovich was the winner. The dealership gave her the option to either take the truck or put the truck's value of $40,000 towards any new ford vehicle of her choosing. She decided to go with a new Mustang Convertible.
"This car coincided with my birthday, so this is like the best birthday present ever that was very unexpected. So I'm very excited about this," said Vucasovich.
Vucasovich said they went with the car because a pickup doesn't fit with her lifestyle.
