COLORADO SPRINGS — Make sure you stop by Downtown Colorado Springs on December 7 for the 35th annual Festival of Lights Parade.

The parade kicks off at 5:50 p.m. on Saturday. The Parade will be on Tejon St. and will start at St. Vrain St. and proceed south to Vermijo Avenue. There is handicap parking on Bijou and Kiowa on both sides of Tejon and there are five parking structures within one block of the parade route.

Do not park at the hooded meters during the parade as you will be towed.

The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum will host its annual Festival of Lights Family Fun Day Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.

The event, featuring holiday craft stations, family-friendly activities, live performances, and history exhibits, has been a holiday tradition at the museum for more than thirty years. Festival of Lights Family Fun Day is free and open to the public.

The Festival of Lights Parade is a nonprofit organization, established to ensure that the citizens of the Pikes Peak Region are able to enjoy this tradition each December.
