COLORADO SPRINGS — An abandoned building near downtown Colorado Springs that was previously home to a Denny's restaurant caught fire Tuesday afternoon.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department fire crews responded to the fire around 4 p.m.
The building is located at 315 W. Bijou St., just west of I-25.
According to a News5 crew on scene, firefighters had the blaze under control fairly quickly.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department said the fire may have started outside the building, but an investigation will continue to determine what started the blaze.
