Broadmoor World Arena to offer drive-in movies, yoga

COLORADO SPRINGS — Tickets are going on sale Friday for drive-in movies and yoga at the Broadmoor World Arena.

The Broadmoor World Arena will host two drive-in movie events from June 11 through 13 and each night will feature "Jumanji" with Robin Williams and "Talledega Nights" with Will Ferrell.

The arena is setting up a parking lot off Geyser Drive where moviegoers can park and maintain social distance while enjoying these flicks. Every other parking spot will be available for purchase on their website, ranging in price depending on its location in the lot. Food and beverages will be available for pre-order as well along with tickets. Restrooms inside the BWA will be open, but social distancing must be maintained and limited numbers of people at a time.

Everyone in attendance must stay in their cars. Any sort of outdoor seating will not be allowed. Audio on an FM transmitter will be available.

The BWA Amphitheater will host a yoga and beer event on June 18, allowing guests to enter the arena starting at 5 p.m. “Nama-stay 6 Ft Away From Me," will start at 6 p.m. where instructors from Yoga Studio Satya will teach an hour-long outdoor class.

This event is limited to 150 people as each person will require 80 square feet of space. Participants are encouraged to bring their mats and dress appropriately for the outdoor class. Tickets are available online for $25 starting Friday, June 5 at 10 a.m.

"They will include a drink ticket for a craft beer of your choice from either Goat Patch Brewing Company, New Belgium Brewing Company or Bristol Brewing Company. Soft drinks and water will also be available."
