COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested a man who was inside a home officers were monitoring Tuesday morning after receiving reports of dozens of shots being fired off Boulder Street.
Officers said they took 29-year-old Justin Laski into custody near the residence in the 700 block of East Boulder Street where they found over 60 shell casings.
News5's Jessica Barreto confirmed that CSPD placed the man in handcuffs shortly before 7 a.m.

CSPD said they received multiple calls around before 2 a.m. regarding dozens of shots being fired in the area of Prospect Avenue and East Boulder Street.
Officers said they heard shots being fired when they arrived to the scene. Police closed Boulder Street early this morning between Hancock Avenue and El Paso Street to search for the suspect.
They later reopened it at 5:45 a.m., but kept a couple police cars lined up on East Boulder Street.
News5's Jessica Barreto confirmed around 5:50 a.m. that officers had narrowed down the search to one home in the neighborhood.
Police have narrowed down their search of the neighborhood and have zeroed it on one home where they believe the person responsible for firing dozens of shots may be located.

Officers said a home across the suspect's house was struck by a bullet.
No injuries have been reported.
