PUEBLO — A new Amtrak train set to be in service next year is being tested in Pueblo, according to the company.
The train being tested at the Transportation Technology Center in Pueblo reaches speeds up to 165 mph.
The Transportation Technology Center says on its website that it has over 48 miles of tracks to test trains on where "the use of these facilities replicates revenue service environments, without the interferences, delays, and safety issues encountered when testing in these environments."
