AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Thanks to a special event at the Air Force Academy Youth Center, some lucky children got their first taste of freedom Saturday.
The Resource Exchange hosted an adaptive car building event for toddlers.
The event was called "Go Baby Go" and provided free, mini motorized cars for families with children with developmental delays who cannot walk unassisted.
The cars have been shown to increase developmental growth and future learning opportunities for children who receive them.
